Sandy’s Holiday Meatballs
A holiday favorite at Gerlach family Christmas’.
Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
2/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 cup water
3 tbs minced onion
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 cup Heinz Chili Sauce
1 cup grape jelly
Preparation
Combine first 7 ingredients.
Form into 60 bite sized meatballs using a rounded teaspoon for each.
Place in a shallow baking pan and bake at 450 for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile in a small saucepan, combine chili sauce and grape jelly.
Heat until jelly is melted.
Pour chili sauce mixture over meatballs to coat.
Notes
Serve warm.
Makes 60 appetizers.
Already prepared meatballs may be substituted.
