Sandy’s Holiday Meatballs
A holiday favorite at Gerlach family Christmas’.
Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
2/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 cup water
3 tbs minced onion
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 cup Heinz Chili Sauce
1 cup grape jelly
Preparation
Combine first 7 ingredients.
Form into 60 bite sized meatballs using a rounded teaspoon for each.

Recipe for Edith Marie’s Cranberry Salad
Ingredients
Cranberry Salad
1 pound package fresh cranberries
1 can crushed pineapple and juice (1lb. 4 oz.)
1 orange
2 cups sugar
3 oz. package raspberry jello
1 cup hot water
Orange Soft Topping
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tbsp. butter
juice of one orange
1/4 tsp. salt
1 large tbsp. flour
1 large carton Cool Whip

Recipe for Chris’ Pumpkin Muffins
Ingredients
1 box of yellow cake mix
1 15 ounce can of pumpkin
Nuts ( if desired)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together dry cake mix and can of pumpkin.
Add nuts if desired.
Spoon cupcake batter into paper liners until 1/2 to 2/3 full.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Recipe for Dr. Chip’s Fancy Holiday Sauce
OK, so it’s not so fancy, but it’s still pretty good.
Ingredients:
Two cans of 16 oz. Ocean Spray (Kroger brand or Great Value brand from Walmart will substitute nicely) Jellied Cranberry Sauce
Lemon rind (about one ounce)
Utensils needed:
Flat bladed dinner knife
Small serving bowl
Large spoon
Can opener
How to prepare:
Open cans of cranberry sauce
Recipe for Alice’s Awesome Artichoke Dip
Ingredients
2 Cans of artichoke hearts (chopped and drained).
2 Cups of mayonnaise.
2 Cups Parmesan cheese (grated).
2-8 0z grated mozzarella cheese.
touch of garlic salt
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Use hand mixer to gently fold and combine ingredients.
Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees to a beautiful golden brown crown.
Serve warm
Recipe for Louisville Leftover Turkey Frame Soup
Ingredients
One meaty turkey frame
Three quarts of water (twelve cups)
One onion quartered
Two teaspoons of salt
One 16 ounce can of diced tomatoes
One tablespoon of instant chicken bouillon granules
One and one-half teaspoons dried oregano crushed
One teaspoon dried thyme crushed
One half teaspoon pepper

Recipe for Margaret’s Melt in Your Mouth Pecan Rolls
Ingredients
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup corn syrup
2 tubes refergerated crescent rolls (8oz each)
23 cup chopped pecans
14 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Preparation
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup. Spread in two greased 8 inch square baking pans, set aside.

Ingredients
2 ten ounce packages frozen broccoli spears or two 8 ounce packages frozen cut asparagus
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup light cream or milk
1 cup chicken or turkey broth
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/3 cup shredded Swiss cheese
